G.26 Silver Overlay Compote - Footed - Candy Dish

Vintage footed compote with silver overlay in a beautiful flowers and butterflies stencil-like design.  Silver overlay on the scalloped edge and base as well.  Measuring 6" in diameter and 5" tall, this stunning piece of history is in extremely good vintage condition with no chips or cracks and little if any wear to the silver.  While delicate-looking, this gorgeous compote is as ready for use as for display. 

I left this slightly tarnished so the design would show up better in the pics, but it will come to you freshly polished and ready for use!  Pictures don't begin to do it justice ...

C.24 PAIR Antique Courting Couple Brass Girandoles - Candelabra

A PAIR of ornate cast brass antique girandoles with a courting couple theme.  Different couple on each piece.  Each brass candlestick is securely attached to a marble base and has three (3) candle cups.  As evident in the pictures, the leaf-style bobeches have holes for hanging crystals, but crystals are not included.

These beauties are from the estate of former Blount County (Tennessee) mayor and former U.S. Attorney for East Tennessee, Jerry Cunningham.  I was told that he is much-loved for his sense of humor and well-respected for his honor and integrity.  It is my understanding that he left office a couple of years ago to enjoy time with his family.  Now it can be your turn to enjoy them!

My local appraiser described these girandoles as in "excellent condition."  They are priced on the low end of what he estimated them to sell for at auction -- not in an antique shop.  Just imagine them in your romantic Valentine or wedding tablescape ...

T.18 Peach Linen Guest Towel - Embroidered Oval Wreaths - Vintage

Handmade linen guest towel featuring six meticulously-embroidered oval wreaths. This is a very high-quality piece and appeared to be unused though it is now freshly laundered and ready for your collection.  Measures 13.5" x 21".

H.14 Organdy Hankie w/ Embroidered Corner Rosettes

Vintage handmade white organdy handkerchief with accent corner of embroidered rosettes and hand-rolled hem.  No stains, holes, or thin spots.  Approx. 10.25" square, this delicate heirloom hankie is freshly laundered and ready for your collection ... or to give away.

H.15 Vintage Floral Printed Hankie w/ Pink Roses

With its soft pink roses and periwinkle blue "sketch" design, this pretty vintage hankie is one of my favorites!  Vibrant colors printed on white cotton, this used piece has no stains, holes, or thin spots, but does have just a few insignificant places along the hand-sewn scalloped edge that are starting to show wear. Approx. 13" square, this sweet piece of history is freshly laundered and ready for your collection.

CT.2 Diary Locks and Keys

Fun set of 3 locks and 6 keys.  Originally used on diaries, these would be great for crafts, tied on napkin rings for a Valentine tablescape ... whatever your imagination can dream up!  Each lock measures 3/4" wide and 1 5/16" high.  Two of the locks stay locked and require the key to open; the other lock pushes in and appears locked but can be pulled open.  Keys are interchangeable.

C.26 Shabby Chic Decorative Metal Tin with Roses - Vintage

Vintage decorative tin container -- green with red-orange roses.  No dents, but all-over surface scratches, discoloration, and some rusting are present. Has been gently wiped with damp cloth, but no cleaning attempted.  I'll leave that to the new owner/expert.  Lid is extremely tight.  Measuring 6" in diameter x 4.25" high, this vintage piece would fit easily into country or Shabby Chic decor.

C.23 Capodimonte Cherubs Centerpiece Bowl

Absolutely stunning Capodimonte-style centerpiece bowl has a pierced top border leading to a basket weave patterned bowl supported by four legs and two standing cherubs.  Elaborate applied floral decorations cover the sides of the basket-style bowl.  Cherubs stand 6" tall; bowl is 4.5" tall and 10.5" wide.

N.25 Cupid Napkin - Valentine Roll Cover - Tray Cloth

There's only one, but it makes a BIG statement!  Heavy vintage blue and white woven cotton napkin with red printed Cupid corner design.  Measuring 15" x 15.75" this would look great in a basket as a roll cover ... or as a tray cloth ... or used under a centerpiece -- whatever you can imagine.  Fantastic vintage condition with no stains, holes, or thin spots.

H.11 Beethoven Souvenir Handkerchief - Unused w/ Original Alba Tag

Unused with its original Alba tag, this Swiss souvenir handkerchief features beloved composer Ludwig Van Beethoven.  Beautiful white organdy fabric with design printed in soft greys, whites, and pinks.  Meticulous pink hand-rolled trim.  Measuring approx. 12.5" square, this vintage hankie is in excellent original condition.  Sure to be treasured!

C.27 Valentine Candy Lidded Boxes - Set of 3

If you love Valentine conversation candies, you'll love this trio of lidded "candy" boxes.  While it's true that the love pats they've received through the years have left a couple of little chips on the exterior, those would be virtually unnoticeable when tucked into your Valentine vignette or tablescape.  There's way too much life left in these cuties to stop using them!  Measurements: 2.5" tall x 2.5" wide x 1 3/8" deep.
