Vintage linen doily featuring embroidered eyelet whitework in a round vase of flowers design and finished with a scalloped edge. Measuring 9" in diameter, this piece is free of holes and stains, freshly laundered, and ready for your use.
Beautiful vintage hand-embroidery on peach-colored organdy mats. Complete sets of 13 pieces like this one aren't easy to come by! Set includes:
One 16" centerpiece doily
Four 8.5" dinner plate silencers
Four 7" luncheon plate silencers
Four 5" goblet silencers/coasters
Each mat features a delicate white flower and leaf design with embroidered scalloped edging. I saw only two small places where the edge is separating from the fabric; the worst one is shown in my final pic, and it's an easy repair if it bothers you. Otherwise, this set is in amazing vintage condition with no holes or stains. A beautiful, hard-to-find set for the vintage linen lover.
Meticulously handsewn vintage whitework linen doily featuring stunning eyelet and embroidery, fancy scalloped edging, and two beautiful beribboned baskets. This extremely high-quality piece measures approx. 11" x 16.5" and is in fabulous vintage condition with only a very few tiny pin-pricks in the linen (virtually unnoticeable except close-up as shown in pics). Stain-free with no loose threads or raveling on the edges. A wonderful Easter basket (or bridal basket) piece to add to your collection.
The pictures don't do this justice! Fabulous vintage diamond-shaped dresser piece crocheted in the most beautifully fine golden-tan thread and featuring a pinwheel design. Measuring a showy 20" wide by 12" tall, this slightly-shiny beauty is in excellent vintage condition, freshly laundered and ready for display.
Personally, I'm not usually crazy about heavy-thread crochet pieces, but this one is amazing! Here's why: 1) The thread is a creamy off-white (not at all yellow) -- very natural-looking. 2) The snowflake-like flowers make a big visual statement. 3) The 16" x 20" size makes it a really versatile piece ... as intended for display, attached to a pillow for a stunning home decor piece, or even lined and turned into a show-stopper purse. See what I mean? Amazing! This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no stains or broken threads. Freshly laundered and ready for whatever use you can imagine!
Oh, how I love this sweet little butter-yellow doily! Crocheted in a fine, slightly-silky thread with a stunning interlocking design, this 7.5" round vintage beauty is in excellent condition -- freshly laundered and ready to make you smile!
Beautiful golden-yellow round vintage doily. Intricate and dainty pattern with picot-like edging made of slightly-silky thread. Measures 7.5" in diameter and is in excellent vintage condition. Freshly laundered and ready for your use.
If you like colored vintage crochet doilies, here's one for you! Salmon-pink medium weight thread in a stunning pattern of circles and scallops. Measuring 7.5" in diameter, this eye-catching piece is in very good vintage condition with no broken threads or stains. Ready for your collection!
Eye-catching vintage dresser piece/doily made of two colors of cotton thread (pale ivory and light tan) that were crocheted separately then pieced together. Measures approx. 6.5" x 13" and has a few slightly loose threads, but nothing is raveling. Very unusual and the first piece of this style I've ever had to offer. Freshly laundered and ready for display!
A sweet matching pair of lacy-looking vintage doilies. These round white beauties have linen centers with showy wide crochet edging. Although identical in design, one is approx. 6" in diameter and the other slightly smaller (as shown in final pic); very common on handmade pieces. This pair of doilies is in excellent vintage condition, freshly laundered, and ready to use.
Pretty vintage doily of heavy white cotton thread. Tightly-crocheted center with open-work border. Measures approx. 11.5" in diameter. Freshly laundered and in very good vintage condition with no breaks or loose threads. There is a tiny, very faint, stain right in the center that looks like perhaps the tip of a pen brushed against it; didn't come out when laundered. Too faint to show up in pictures. Virtually unnoticeable, but priced accordingly. A wonderful piece of handwork from days gone by ...
